I am excited for you. This was my first to hear about the decision to adopt. Abby is coming into a great Godly home. How fortunate she is. May our blessed Lord take care of all your needs Bobby Shows
I don't know what to check below... I don't blog... I am so excited for all of you and will be anxious to meet Abby when I get back from the beach. I know you leave Wed. and you are already in my thoughts & prayers. I know it will all go smoothly and I pray for an easy transition. Also remembering Brooke, Blaine and the rest of fam who may have the hardest job of all... waiting at home! Love to all and have a great trip, Cindy Stroud
Your friends at Ouachita are all praying for your journey to receive Abby. Brooke, you will be a GREAT sister to Abby and I look forward to meeting her.
"We biological parents know well the earnest longing to have a child. But in many cases our cribs were filled easily. We decided to have a child and a child came....I've heard of unplanned pregnancies, but I've never heard of an unplanned adoption. That's why adoptive parents understand God's passion to adopt us. They know what it means to feel empty inside. They know what it means to hunt, to set out on a mission, and take responsibility with a spotted past and dubious future. If anybody understands God's ardor for his children, it's somone who has adopted, rescued an orphan from despair, for that is what God has done for us. God has adopted you. God sought you, found you, signed the papers and took you home..for good." -Max Lucado The Great House of God
