The Nest, China's summer 2008 Olympic StadiumSaturday has proved to be quite an adventure. We started with a stop by the Cloisonne factory. From there it was a long trip to the Great Wall as half of Beijing decided to make a trip to the wall today. It got extremely slow once we turned off at Badaling. We rode the sky tram to the top of the mountain and experienced some incredible views of the an amazing creation. Despite a flat on our trip back we made it to dinner which also happened to be the jade market. The trip back to the hotel also included a nice view of the Olympic stadiums and villages. All in all we somehow managed to get back safely with no purchases other than water and ice cream. Tomorrow is Forbidden City and the Square and then off to Nanchang. We get Abby very soon!!! We will keep you updated.
